Added good stuff to my blog....

Hi hi!

To those of you who have not noticed, I have added a blogroll to the right hand side of my blog page.

It's really great! I remember the first time I saw this blogroll, was when i accidentally chanced upon the food blog of a local blogger. From her blog, I went on to visit many other blogs and discovered many like-minded people like myself!

Now, I finally have it included in my page, and I also have my own blog added to the blogroll, thanks to Jenn who maintains the blogroll. It's really fantastic. With that, time spent surfing the net will only increase...or if you happen to sit in front of your computer and don't know which site to go to, just do these steps:

1) place your mouse cursor over the sliding bar of the blogroll,
2) close your eyes,
3) hold your mouse for as long as you like
4) move your mouse just a little to the left...

and voila! There you have, another interesting blog to read!

some things just do not go as planned

as a follow up to my previous post, i was actually cracking my head during early last week. finally, i decided to make mini fruit tartlets to bring to reunion dinner at my aunt's place. i had mentally listed the fruits to buy, and most importantly, to make lemon curd to fill the tartlets.

well, sometimes things do not go as planned. my grandmother passed away and this year, we in the family cannot celebrate Chinese New Year. in addition, if i were to want to get married, i have to do it within 100 days from the day she passed away.

therefore, i will be very busy, unless of course, i change my mind to get married 3 years later instead of within these 100 days.
i am already missing my oven, but there is simply no time these days. maybe i can make something during Chinese New Year, since I will not be doing any visiting this year. in the meantime people, enjoy the goodies already on sale now! Or better still, make your own!!

I'm still here!!

Happy New Year!

I am still around, in case you people are wondering....hee

I am toying with the idea of making something for reunion dinner this year. Reunion dinner at my aunt's place usually comes early. Nope, no pineapple tarts. I haven't learnt that yet. Maybe something light? Because we are usually stuffed at the end of the dinner. Hmm...let me go think about it, or if you have any ideas, let me know! Something light, and not too sweet, suitable for diabetics.
